Woof! Now furiends, when your parents say “Oh honey?”; is it me, or don’t you pawonder if they are calling for you? BOL Well, turns out that Mom was asking if we want honey. Doesn’t she realize how sweet we are already? If she wants to make us sweeter, I am not going to shake my tail at that! Honey and peanut butter together = YUMMY
Did you know how Grr8 honey is for us? It is pawsome! Honey is has anti-inflammatory affect, which helps us that have allergies. Just a spoonful of raw honey is enough to give us increased energy. Now, this is something to shake our tail about! Here is this week’s recipe:
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter, no salt or sugar
2 tablespoons honey
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup whole wheat flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface and roll out to about half an inch thick. Cut treats with a cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until treats are firm to the touch. Before freezing or storing, allow cookies to cool and harden, about 30 minutes.
