Woof! I’m back; you know I can’t stay away from this pawboard too long. My paws were meant to type; isn’t there a song about this? Oh, it is about boots and walkin’; boots, paws same thing, all about movin’. Do you like to move like me? Walk? Run” Swim?
Barking about swimming, the other night Mom watched this movie, “Dolphin Tale”, have you seen it? After watching it with Mom, I give it four paws up. What a pawonderful, inspiring true story about a very brave dolphin and the compassionate strangers who banded together to save her life. Oh folks, it doesn’t stop there; you see, this dolphin saves them and brings the town together.

As I sat there with my head resting on my paws, I got to thinkin’ about my beloved sister, Betty Boop. Bark about a brave little girl and was it Mom that saved her? Or, did Betty Boop save us? I am betting my kibble that Betty Boop saved us and brought us together as one. I believe you humans have a saying that goes like this: “It takes a village to raise a child”. Well, in Mom’s case with Betty Boop, it took a village to help care and love Betty. Remember Mom’s chapter about the whole village saving Betty?

In the movie, it took a whole village to help Winter; Winter is a dolphin that this movie and book was based from. You see, it took dedication of a marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics doctor, and the unwavering devotion of a young boy to bring about a groundbreaking miracle. Winter though, becomes the inspiration for both disabled children and a soldier. Winter brought lives together and inspired so many.

I am going to stop there, as I do not want to spill the treats; furiends, tell your family that you want to watch this movie. After you watch it, paw up a note or two and let me know what you thought of the movie? Any areas in your yard that it took a whole yard to bring everypaw together?
Speaking of yard, better go and check my yard, Sparky likes to come over and try to claim it. Arf! Like that will happen BOL Before I go and guard my yard, I leave you with this: “Never quit on Winter. Never quit on yourselves.” Mom never gave up on Betty Boop; the village didn’t give up on Winter, folks, don’t give up! Just believe! Woof!
Woof! Woof!
You met Winter?
Mom and I watched the movie again last night, truly inspiring how Winter even helped medical teams. She truly is an angel from God. Woof!
I live near Winter’s home at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and have seen firsthand what Winter means to her special visitors. She has definitely given as much love as she has received. It’s a reminder to all of us that animals (and mammals) come in all shapes and sizes and all beings deserve a chance at life. Mr MaGoo is right; it’s a must see.
